Recycling

Recycling is an important part of waste management and environmental protection.  The recycling program in Blacks Harbour is a voluntary program that residents are encouraged to participate in.  Community Recycling Bins (Blue Bins) are located at the across the street from Mill Brook Park, you can’t miss them.

Waste Management

All residents are encouraged to practice the three R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.  For remaining waste, garbage pick-up is every Thursday.  Residents are reminded that garbage must be kept in receptacles that are metal or plastic, watertight and have a tight fitting lid.  Wooden garbage boxes are not permitted.
